Approved Vendor for Change a Life Foundation
June, 2011World Access for the Blind is granted approved vendor status with the Change a Life Foundation, allowing us to provide more services more easily to more students through Change a Life Foundation grants.
Blind Vision and World Access for the Blind Partner Over Braille Beats
July, 2010World Access for the Blind has provided independence instruction to Braille Beats students on behalf of Blind Vision Inc. yearly since 2007. We formed a partnership with Blind Vision to combine resources and expertise to further broaden and deepen the scope of the unique educational and enrichment program that Braille Beats offers its many blind students each summer.
World Access for the Blind Joins Common Sense in Gifts
September, 2010Common Sense, dorset England, teams up with World Access for the Blind to recieve gifts and donations on our behalf, and use these to sponsor our events throughout the U.K. This provides gift relief for all U.K. resident donors on behalf of World Access for the Blind through Common Sense' charitable status.
Daniel Selected for Subject Matter Expert Committee
June, 2010Daniel Kish is selected to serve on the Subject Matter Expert Committee for ACVREP COMS certification development. He is one of a dozen committee members selected to serve. This is a position of honor within the profession, which provides insight and influence into the top most levels of the mobility profession.
